Family Vacation Bible Xperience
Last year, we hosted our very first Family VBX. The name VBX (instead of VBS) comes from Vacation Bible Xperience.
Let me tell you, this time spent with those dearest to us -learning about the Word of God, having dinner, and playing together- is the most special!
If you are looking for an activity to do with your kids this Summer, we are thrilled to offer Family VBX once more - for kids, parents, grandparents, best friends…
This year’s theme is Pets Unleashed. Keep reading to find out more about it!
As our pets are such a significant part of our lives, we can see how they serve as fountains of love, joy, and affection. We believe that our Pets Unleashed theme is a fun and exciting kickoff to a rewarding event for the whole family! Kids are crazy for critters with whiskers, tails, feathers, or scales!
We’ll introduce kids to Jesus, God’s Son, who lovingly cares for us.
At Family VBX, the whole family is invited to come together to worship, sing, play games, read Bible stories, make crafts, interact with animals at a petting zoo, and enjoy an EPIC Show! Each evening will start with a family meal, which is perfect for catching up and chatting with other families.
This event is open to everyone, and we welcome anyone who wants to come and experience a wonderful time with their family and, more importantly, with God. By working together and living out the glory of Jesus, we'll have a great time, connect with others, and create special memories with our families.
Who can participate? Everyone is invited to come and be part of Family VBX at Dripping Springs Methodist Church!
Children of all ages, parents, grandparents, caregivers… Don’t forget to bring your friends!

How much is it? $40 per family. Scholarships are available, so don’t let that stop you from participating.
