Pathways School Teachers & Staff

19MARY FERNANDEZ, DIRECTOR
Mrs. Fernandez moved to the Dripping Springs area in 2014 where she initially began teaching at Pathways as the music and movement teacher. Mary has a BA from Oglethorpe University and MS from University of North Texas, both in Early Childhood Education. She also has 14 years of experience as a classroom teacher and program director at Parish Episcopal School (3yrs-12th) in Dallas. Needless to say, she enjoys and has a passion for teaching preschool children and believes they deserve to be loved wholeheartedly, nurtured spiritually, challenged appropriately, and taken seriously in their school experience! In addition to serving the school, parents, children, staff and community as the Director of Pathways, she also serves as Pathways Music & Movement teacher part-time. “My heart and soul has always been ?lled with music and movement (mostly dance), and I can’t imagine my life without it. So if you hear or see me singing or ballet dancing around town, you won’t be surprised!” In addition to her professional experience, she is also wife to my husband, Jan (of 20 years), and mom to 3 awesome kids: Isabel (12), Evan (9), and Lily (5).
20DOMINIQUE PEEL, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Dominique Peel started in 2010 teaching a MWF 3 year old class and then moved to the administrative side of things, serving as the Pathways office administrator since 2014. She was born and raised in Dripping Springs. Dominique is married to her high school sweetheart and has 4 amazing kids. All 4 of their children attended the Pathways School, previously DSUMC preschool, and have thrived in public school because of it. They enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting and basically anything outdoors as a family. Dominique believes teaching is an extremely important profession and feels very blessed to be a part of the awesome team at the Pathways School.

Mrs Bradford has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Master of Arts in Secondary Education both from The University of Texas Permian Basin. Before coming to Dripping Springs, taught high school speech in Uvalde, TX. She is married to Rev. Scott Bradford, Pastor at DSUMC and has two boys Joshua & Daryl and a foster daughter, Emily, a graduate of Dripping Springs High School. Laurel’s hobbies include photography, reading, jewelry making, and the art of storytelling.
