What are we about?
Worship is the heart of all we do at DSUMC. Our primary reason for gathering each Sunday is to worship God; and because of worship, many things happen. We make and share lasting friendships. We learn the needs of others in the community and find the compassion to help meet those needs. We find ourselves being served during our special times of need by those who have knelt with us at holy communion, participated with us in baptisms, joined with us in congregational prayer, and sung with us the hymns of the church.
How can you become a member? It's simple! It's a simple process. Just email the Church Office and we'll help you get started. You will then receive notice of the next Pastor's Welcome Class. This is a short class that allows you to get to know the pastors and the vision of this church. It is a short class, and upon completion you are free to join at any time. Information about transfer or other pertinent information will be covered in the class. We love to see the family of God grow.
