Alpha Course – Basic questions of the Christian faith. This is an 11 week course with a 24 hour retreat in the 7^th week. There are meals provided by other groups within the church, free child care, a free manual and NO HOMEWORK. It is presented in video by the author, Nicky Gumbel , with small group discussion afterwards. Topics include:

Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus Have to Die?
How & Why do I Pray?
How & Why Should I Read the Bible?
How Can I Resist Evil?
Does God Heal Today?
3 sessions on the Holy Spirit (at the retreat) and How Do I Tell Others?
What about the Church?
What to Do With the Rest of my Life?
This course is offered beginning in September and another in January each year.

Disciple I – Becoming Disciples through Bible Study - A 34 week class that is an overview of the entire Bible. A basic Bible study that emphasizes core concepts of the message the Bible has to convey. It is the foundational class for the other Disciple series classes.

Disciple II – Into the Word – Into the World -A 32 week class that concentrates on the books of Genesis & Exodus in the fall and Luke & Acts in the spring. It also includes emphases on some of the spiritual disciplines. There are readings in several other books to enhance the study of the Biblical books. This class continues the journey to becoming a Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Disciple III – Remember Who You Are - A 32 week class that explores the Old Testament prophets in the fall and the letters of Paul in the spring. The concepts covered in this class remind students of God’s call to remember, repent, for renewed vision and the place of community. Use of maps and charts enhance this study.

Disciple IV – Under the Tree of Life – A 32 week class that includes study of the Old Testament writings, the gospel of John, 1, 2, & 3 John and Revelation. Being under the tree of life is a concept to convey invitation, welcome, sheltering, security and rest – home at last.

Jesus in the Gospels - This is the first in the second generation of the Disciple series, a 30-week study using the Bible, a manual and a gospel comparison. These resources lead the student into an intimate look at Jesus and encourages relationship with our Lord and Savior.
